Bringing together a community hospital, ambulatory clinics, and a partnership with OHSU Health, they offer a truly unique experience of non-profit healthcare.

Fresh off a name change and a new partnership with OHSU Health, Hillsboro Medical Center came to us with a brand identity crisis. They were prouder than ever of their commitment to the health of their community; but they were struggling to define their brand both internally and externally.
“We are Hillsboro Medical Center”
Based on research, surveys, focus groups, and interviews, our work with Hillsboro Medical Center started with redefining their organizational values and moved on to their employee value proposition.
This work led to an internal awareness campaign, a revamped employee recognition program, a new recruitment and retention communication plan, as well as internal and public-facing awareness campaigns–all building on the simple statement: “We Are Hillsboro Medical Center.”
Telling a visual story
Building on the new messaging, we created brand collateral, digital communications, and environmental design for use across Hillsboro Medical Center.
Our ongoing work focuses on reinforcing brand identity internally and externally, expanding both recruitment and marketing materials.
Special Project: Hillsboro Hops
Hillsboro Medical Center’s partnership with the Hillsboro Hops presented a unique opportunity for the organization to reintroduce itself to the community.
We produced a “We Are Hillsboro Medical Center” campaign, centered around a series of illustrated collateral and an animated short that was first featured during Healthy Hillsboro night at the stadium. Since then, we’ve expanded the campaign and the short has been featured across organizational channels.
